Drop alerts

Hear when your sales or leads drop.

Some problems only show up with real visitors. We watch your numbers and tell you when they fall.

The problem

A drop can hide for days

Your leads fall to zero on a Friday. No one looks at reports until Monday.

By then, you have lost days of data. And you still don't know why.

How it works

Two ways we watch your numbers

  1. Step 1: Key events in Google Analytics

Pick up to 20 key events, like sales or leads. Each hour, we read their counts.

  2. Step 2: We compare to normal

Normal means the same hour and day over the last 4 weeks. You hear from us if a count stays far too low for 2 hours, or drops to zero.

  3. Step 3: The monitor tag, if you want it

It is an extra tag in your container. It counts which tags and events fire for real visitors.

  4. Step 4: It counts only a sample

By default, it counts 1 page view in 10. It never sends names, emails or page addresses.

  5. Step 5: Each alert names the last publish

When a number drops, the alert names the publish just before it. One click shows what changed.

FAQ

Questions you may have

What is a key event?

It is an event you marked as important in Google Analytics. For example, a sale or a form sent.

Do I need the monitor tag?

No. It is optional. Key event alerts work without it. The tag just shows you which tags stopped.

Will you publish the monitor tag for me?

No. We can put it in a draft space in your container. Then someone on your team checks it and publishes it.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to Google Analytics. We ask for it only when you turn this on.
