Terms of service

Last updated 25 September 2026. Contact: jake@citamark.com.

These are the rules for using TagStrike. Please read them before you sign up.

The service

TagStrike watches the tag containers you connect. It saves the versions that go live, runs checks on your sites, and sends alerts to Slack. It works with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics through their public APIs. Those are the official ways apps connect to them. TagStrike is its own product. It is not part of Google or Slack, and they do not back or endorse it.

Beta

The service is in a free beta. You may need an invite code to join. Features may change or go away without notice. We give you the service "as is". That means we make no promises (warranties) of any kind. We do not promise it will always be up. We do not promise that alerts will arrive by a set time. And we do not promise to catch every change.

Your account and workspace

Your workspace is your team's space in the app.

  • You must be 18 or older. You must be allowed (authorized) to connect the Google accounts, containers, sites and Slack workspaces you add.
  • You are responsible for the people you invite to your team. You are also responsible for the AI helpers you connect through MCP. MCP is a common way for AI tools to link to apps.
  • Keep your keys (tokens) secret. If you think a key leaked, cancel it.

Changes to your containers

TagStrike never publishes to a live container on its own. Two things can go live from the app: going back to an old version (rollback), and AI drafts. Each goes live only when someone on your team confirms it in the app. You are responsible for every change published from your workspace. That includes how it affects your sites, your clients, and the rules you must follow (compliance).

Fair use

  • Do not connect containers or sites you are not allowed to watch.
  • Do not use the monitor tag to collect personal data beyond what it is built to send.
  • Do not try to get into another team's data. Do not overload the service. Do not try to get around the API limits (quotas) that all users share.

Data

Our privacy policy says what we collect and how we protect it. Your container data stays yours. To run the service, we must store it, work with it and show it to you. You give us permission (a license) to do that.

Ending your use

You can stop using the service at any time. To delete your workspace, email us. We may pause or end your access if you break these terms, or when the beta ends. When we can, we will give you fair notice first.

Limits on what we owe you

This part holds as far as the law allows. TagStrike and the people who run it are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential losses. Those are losses that come as a side effect, not straight from the service. We are also not liable for lost income or lost data that comes from using the service. There is a limit on the most we owe you in total (our total liability). It is what you paid us for the service in the 12 months before your claim. During the free beta, that is nothing.

Changes to these terms

We will post new terms here. For big changes, we will email workspace owners before they start.
